A top soap actor and singer will take to the stage for a two-night musical extravaganza later this month.
Following a sold out concert in 2020, An Evening from The West End is back at Dumfries House after a three year break.
X Factor stars Sam Bailey and Nicholas McDonald wowed crowds back in 2020, alongside Ryan Molloy, who played Frankie Valli in ‘The Jersey Boys’ in London and New York.
This year’s two-night special will see John Partridge - best-known for playing Christian Clarke in EastEnders from 2007 to 2016 - headline the show at the Cumnock estate on Friday 24 and Saturday, March 25.
As one of the UK’s brightest musical stars, John has starred in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Cats, A Chorus Line, Grease, Starlight Express, Cabaret, Chicago, Rent, among others.
Joining John at An Evening from the West End will be We Will Rock You’s Clydebank-born West End leading lady Jenna Lee-James and Ayrshire-based members of Musichoir Scotland.
Jenna Lee James started her career at the age of 10 in pantomime at Glasgow’s King’s Theatre, and now tours internationally performing in gigs and concerts.
Prior to the show, guests can enjoy a pre-concert three-course set menu dinner, served with a glass of wine and followed by coffee and truffles, in one of the principal dining rooms of Dumfries House for £89.50 per person (including concert ticket).
Doors open at 5.45pm for a prompt 6pm dinner service.
Tickets for concert only are priced at £34.50, with doors opening at 7pm for concert start of 8pm.
