Going on holiday should mean you're in relax mode and, while not always possible, that ideally starts with the airport before your flight.
One of the biggest stress inducers can be the busy departure lounge before you jet away.
Noise and big crowds can build stress for plenty waiting to head away on their holidays.
But East Midlands Airport has said it wants to take that stress away as it updated on its Escape private departure lounge.
The area, which offers complimentary food, alcohol and soft drinks as well as a place to relax, will be reopening at the popular airport in April.
EMA said: "We're thrilled to announce the reopening of our @EscapeLoungesUK on 1st April 2022!
"Escape Lounge is the perfect way to start your trip with the people that matter. Take some time out before your flight with inclusive food and drink."
Describing the Escape Lounge, EMA promises travellers an "oasis of calm".
It added: "We’re here to make each and every one of our guests feel special.
"Step into a diverse space away from the crowds, where you can find all you will need before your flight.
"Enjoy an oasis of calm and start as you mean to go on."
Prices for an adult cost £30 and £24 for a child.
