An emergency RNLI crew raced to save a fishing boat in East Lothian after it quickly got into trouble.
Sharing details from the rescue, the Dunbar crew in East Lothian said they had been made aware of the emergency on Sunday evening at around 11.50pm.
Launching their lifeboat into the Forth in complete darkness, the crew had travelled along the coast, where they discovered the fishing boat near Torness power station.

According to the RNLI, the boat was found at around 1.20am on Monday morning, after it had become tail-tied in its own fishing net.
Making a decision to tow the boat back to shore, the crews spent hours at sea moving the vessel through the waters, only arriving at Eyemouth at 5.45am.
A post from RNLI said: "Our volunteer RNLI lifeboat crew were out late last night helping a fishing boat that had become tail-tied in its own net.

"Paged at 11.50pm by the UK Coastguard, the crew launched our all-weather lifeboat (ALB) from Torness and reached the 40ft (12m) Eye-mouth registered trawler 13 miles northeast of the power station at 1.20am. They found the stricken boat’s fishing net had become entangled around its propeller.
"After assessing all the available options, coxswain Kevan Jamieson decided the best course of action was to tow the boat to Eyemouth. Restricted by the sea conditions and the vessel’s suitability for towing, the ALB reached Eyemouth at 5.45am and safely berthed the trawler.
"The crew returned to Torness and at 7.30am the ALB was refuelled and ready for service."
