The National Museum of Flight is set to host a weekend for Lego lovers, as the East Lothian museum announces a special two-day event for builders.
The Awesome Bricks event will run next weekend, and offers lots of hands-on activities, and even gives people the chance to design, build and race their own Lego vehicle.
Lego fans can also try navigate a train down a specially-built track, and assemble their own creation in a Brick Build Zone filled with over 80,000 Lego bricks.

Families can take part in a mass participation mosaic, helping Lego experts Warren and Teresa Elsmore to construct a giant image of one of the first powered aircraft to take to the air – a 1907 Voisin biplane.
They will also be able to see the incredible models and tiny worlds that have been created by adult fans of Lego from across the UK and Europe.
These creations include a rotating space station, futuristic flying machines, a Middle Eastern fort and market and a model of the Wright Brothers biplane, the Wright Flyer.
Younger visitors can hone their building skills with bigger bricks in the Duplo Play and Display area and can hunt for the Flying Wonders Minifigures that are hidden across the Museum site.
All of the other attractions at the National Museum of Flight will be available to enjoy including iconic aircraft such as a Red Arrows Hawk and Scotland’s Concorde.
Families can also visit the Museum’s Fantastic Flight gallery with its interactive displays offering a wonderful way to discover how aeroplanes fly.
There’s also a chance to learn about East Fortune’s wartime heritage in the attraction’s Fortunes of War exhibition.
Food and drink will be available from both the Museum’s Aviator café and The Wee Green Hut, which will serve a selection of wood-fired pizzas, hot drinks, cake and bakes.
Steve McLean, General Manager, National Museum of Flight said: "The fantastic Lego displays and fun-filled challenges included in our Awesome Bricks event are a great way to encourage children’s problem solving and engineering talents and to allow them to be innovative and creative.
"Combined with the chance to learn about flight and see the magnificent aircraft in our collections, this event offers a wonderful day out that the whole family can enjoy together."
Awesome Bricks runs from 10am-5pm on Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18, 2023. Due to event capacity, advance booking is required to ensure entry.
Tickets cost £15 for adults over 16-years-old, £13 for concessions and £10 for kids aged between five and 15. Under-fives go free, and National Museums Scotland members are also free to enter, with a pre-booked ticket.
