Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for East Lothian, urging people to take extra care when travelling tomorrow, December 7, and on Thursday, December 8.
The warning comes as several significant areas of the UK are expected to be battered with icy conditions.
The leading weather forecasting outlet put the warning in place starting from 6pm on Wednesday, December 7, and up until 12pm on the following day.

The weather conditions are expected to cause some disruption to traffic and public transport as experts warn of "icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths".
People are also urged to be extra careful when walking or running outdoors, as there is a danger of potential injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces.
Commenting on the weather conditions, the Met Office experts said: "Frequent wintry showers running down the east coast are likely to fall on frozen surfaces in places, leading to the formation of icy patches."
This comes as nighttime temperatures drop below zero this week, with a lowest of -4 degrees expected later this week, on Friday, December 9, increasing our chances for a white Christmas.
Yesterday, Edinburgh Live reported on forecasts that the first snow of this year is due to fall in Edinburgh as soon as next week.
Forecasts on the BBC predict snow from Monday, December 12, with the website weather.com also warning that the white stuff could appear as early as Thursday this week.
