An East Lothian bus driver has been heralded by his community after taking it upon himself to guide a mother duck and her chicks to safety in Musselburgh.
Krzysztof Sieniuc, 39, is a Polish dad who works for Lothian buses in East Lothian, and stopped to help the mother duck and her ten ducklings get to the River Esk.
The kind hearted man, who is also behind a drive to support Ukrainians fleeing war, said that he felt it was only right to help the little birds along considering the damage that people are doing to the environment.
In the video shared with Edinburgh Live, the mother duck and her chicks can be seen scampering along the pavement.

Images also show the birds crossing the roads as they try to navigate their way back to the safe waters of the River Esk.
On his good natured deed, Krzysztof said: “I was walking home to Mansfield Road when I turned into my street where my brother in law pointed out to me that there was a duck family on the road.
“I was on my break so I decided that the extra walk with the ducks to the river wouldn’t impact me much.
“It was slow but was also very relaxing.
“The reaction of people on the Musselburgh Facebook group was quite nice and everyone who saw me was smiling.
“The High Street in Musselburgh was full but people stopped to let the ducks go through the cross road.
“It is always nice to be nice.
“Plus our environment is destroyed enough by humans, so every little help is always good.”
Krzysztof has set up Alba Ukraine along with his family to help those fleeing the conflict.
He moved to the East Lothian town 11 years ago after moving from High Wycombe in 2011.
He is father to a seven-year-old boy and is also expecting another child later this year.
