A volunteer support organisation is appealing to local charities to help it tell the Scottish Government what they need by taking part in an annual survey.
Volunteer Centre East Lothian (VCEL) is giving the groups it supports the chance to have their voice heard as it looks at how it can improve and provide help in the future.

It is urging third sector groups and individuals to tell them about the issues they are facing in the survey which closes at the end of this month.
The results of the questionnaire will be used to help the Tranent-based organisation make sure it asks for the support third sector groups need from both the Scottish Government and funders.
VCEL is a Third Sector interface set up to provide support, learning and development opportunities for individuals and organisations providing a single point of access for support and advice for the third sector within their local area as well as ensuring they are represented.
Maureen Allan, chief officer of VCEL, said: ‘Part of our remit from the Scottish Government is to represent the views of local charities and Third Sector Organisations in East Lothian.
"It is really important that we are able to understand the impact VCEL and our charities and Third Sector organisations have on local communities, groups, voluntary organisations and social enterprises in East Lothian.
"We want to keep improving so I am asking all the groups and organisations that we work with to complete our annual survey.
"This information will help us provide better support to you and communities in East Lothian and help us to make the right asks of government and funders on your behalf."
The survey is confidential and no details about those taking part will be made public.
