Counterfeit merchandise worth an estimated £1 million has been recovered by police from storage facilities in East Kilbride.
Search warrants were executed on storage facilities in the area by police and Trading Standards officers on November 9. The operation resulted in the recovery of suspected counterfeit merchandise and accessories mimicking a number of luxury brands.
The haul, including fake Ugg and North Face items, has been estimated to be worth in excess of £1m and a 61-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the recovery.

The operation also involved local authority trading standards services from Glasgow City Council, South Lanarkshire Council, and the Anti-Counterfeiting Group.
Detective Sergeant Graham McAdam, Police Scotland, said: “This is a great example of partnership working which has led to a substantial recovery of what is believed to be counterfeit merchandise in the lead-up to Christmas.
“We will continue to work with partners to disrupt those involved in this type of criminality.”
A spokesperson for Trading Standards Scotland said: "This type of action is aimed at protecting consumers and legitimate businesses by preventing the sale of counterfeit products throughout Scotland, especially in the run up to the festive period when shoppers may be looking for a bargain.
"Working closely with brand representatives, the recovered products will now be examined and a range of enforcement outcomes will be considered."
