A popular brewery has announced that it will not be re-opening its taproom this summer after running out of space. The owners of Good Chemistry Brewing, which has operated a taproom at its brewery in St Philip's, said in a blog post that increases in production over the last several months had left it strapped for space.
They added that this growth means that they no longer have room to clear out the warehouse area that doubles as their Brewery Tap. The post said: "We’re incredibly disappointed. We love seeing you over the summer, sharing our newest and freshest beers, getting the decks set up for our amazing record-spinners, welcoming the wonderful food traders we work with.

"But it isn’t physically possible for us to regularly create the space you know and love. We’ll be working hard to get something sorted for next year, so watch this space."
Good Chemistry will still be opening its doors for the East Bristol Brewery Trail from Saturday April 29 to and Sunday April 30, and Saturday August 26 to Sunday August 27, with food available from The Cheese Guy and music provided by Private Britton and Lonely Tourist.
The GCB brewery was founded by Bob Cary and Kelly Sidgwick in 2015 in St Philip's, where they quickly established a reputation for popular events. They later transferred this approach to their award-winning Redland pub, The Good Measure, and historic city centre pub The King’s Head.
