Earnings Preview: What to Expect From Microsoft’s Report

With a market cap of $3.9 trillion, Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) is a global technology company that develops software, cloud computing services, AI solutions, and hardware for consumers and businesses. Headquartered in Redmond, Washington, the company’s portfolio includes Windows, Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams, LinkedIn, Dynamics 365, and Xbox.

The Redmond, Washington-based company is slated to announce its fiscal Q1 2027 results after the market closes on Oct. 28. Ahead of this event, analysts forecast MSFT to post an adjusted EPS of $4.71, a 14% growth from $4.13 in the year-ago quarter. It has exceeded Wall Street's earnings expectations in the past four quarters.
