Amazon furniture deals — my top Editor's Picks on bedroom, bathroom, and living room finds

Yellow background in fading gradient with French gray dining chairs and a wooden walnut look dining table and bench.

I'm a homes editor and in my experience, small space furniture needs to deliver on three things to make it a good buy: style, function, and competitive pricing.

Given that I spend 2000+ hours a year writing and editing homes articles, I know a good bargain when I see it and whilst you've been sleeping, I've spent hours fishing out the best Amazon furniture deals for compact homes.

I've carefully chosen 11 Amazon furniture deals to help you furnish your home (and tell you exactly why each one made my list). These all have great discounts, but if you do want to hold off for a bargain, you might want to find out when the next Amazon sale event is.

Amazon furniture deals you can't afford to miss

I won't be offended if you skip my picks and go straight to the deals you are most in need of, so here's a quick-list to get you there, fast. Otherwise, scroll for my knockout Amazon furniture picks worth nabbing while stocks last.

FAQs

What is Prime Day?

Amazon Prime Day is a sales event from the retailer which began as a thank you to its Prime members over a decade ago, offering flash discounts and deals only available to Prime members.

Now, it is an annual event, and happens typically in July and again later in the year, offering exclusive sale prices to Prime members.

When is Amazon Prime Day?

The 2024 Prime Day was from July 16-17 and is available to Prime members and those on a 30-day free Prime trial, students aged 18-22, and Amazon Household members. The 2025 date has not been announced yet, but I'll be sure to update this page when it is announced.

Can you shop deals without Amazon Prime membership?

No, you can't. But there is a slight loophole. If you take advantage of the Amazon Prime free trial for 30 days, and you can enjoy the same deals and super-fast Prime delivery like fully-fledged members. Just remember to cancel your membership before the end of the trial so it doesn't automatically charge you. I have been a Prime member for 14 years and there isn't a year that goes by that I skip it.

I use my Prime membership weekly, and love the fast delivery, deals, easy returns and other benefits including Prime TV and its well worth the spend. I pay it annually for ease but you can set up a monthly payment to spread the cost.

For the US, Amazon Prime subscription costs are currently $14.99 a month, or an annual payment of $139, which will save you over $40 compared to the monthly subscription.

If you receive SNAP, Medicaid, or other qualifying government assistance, you can save more with Prime Access, too. You will need to provide a copy of the proof that you're in receipt in the process, so have that handy.

How we find Amazon Prime Deals

We have a few methods. First, we navigate to Amazon, and search various sections for the top deals, as well as Prime Day Deals, and then we compare those items to our own records of the latest prices, or as available on camelcamelcamel, a price checker to make sure deals are really good deals worth sharing.

We also look specifically for items that we have tried and tested ourselves, as well as checking and reading hundreds, if not thousands of customer reviews during our collation of great bargains. We make a note of the good, the bad, the ugly, and apply our team's collective experience too of these items if we have them in our own homes, have tested them or had hands on experience of the product.

We compare and contrast materials, features, sustainability features, dimensions and any other distinguishing variants such as color and size.

We also add new deals in for items that we haven't tried and tested, but look like they have a great and comparable specification, using our ecommerce and appliance knowledge of the industry (for instance, the best single-serve coffee makers), and considered alongside the deal price, may make a recommendation.

If Amazon has labelled an item as Amazon's Choice, we pay attention to that as this is not a label retailers can buy. Amazon use lots of data including what customers search, versus what they buy, the most popular and highly rated items, availability and how likely customers are to return it, to give particular items the label. Number 1 bestsellers also carry weight for our decision-making, but we do make sure to offset these Amazon-given labels against customer reviews and our own knowledge of the retailers, brands, appliances, furniture and more.

We typically feature items that have a minimum of 4.5/5 star ratings from customers, though occasionally, we might feature great deals on items between 4 and 4.4 stars, especially if the bargain price makes it what we consider a wise or worthwhile purchase.

Amazon is a great place to purchase high-ticket items like furniture, as well as other decor pieces for around the house. I also love the huge range of Amazon rugs on the site, which come in a host of different styles.
