  • The book, published by Penguin Michael Joseph, will be released on 22 September ahead of the 30th anniversary of Diana's death.
  • Spencer stated he decided to write the account to present the truth about his sister and counter persistent untruths.
  • It marks the first time the British peer has spoken openly and at length about Diana's life and the tragic week of her death in August 1997.
  • The publication follows Spencer's 10 previous books, including his candid 2024 childhood memoir, A Very Private School .
