Eamonn Holmes has told of his "worst night ever" amid his chronic pain battle.
In a Twitter discussion on Thursday morning, he suggested how "unless you have gone through it you have no idea" while chatting to another user experiencing pain.

In the conversation, the TV presenter added: "And often despite the pain, we sufferers still bite our lips and get on with it? We still laugh and smile but people forget that we still hurt."
Another user replied how night time is 'the worst time' as it is 'all you can think about'.
Eamonn replied: "...Worst night ever. Endless cycle #ChronicPain."
On Wednesday night, the broadcaster said: "Terribly painful night with no sleep in sight."
Previously tweeting at 1.30am on Tuesday morning, the presenter said he wanted to create a platform for others who were also suffering.
He said: "Hello all my #ChronicPain sufferers... I know [it's] not much help but it does help a little I feel to know we are not alone.
"Therefore from time to time I make these posts so some of you can share stories and just talk to someone who knows what you are going through."
