Eamonn Holmes has been supported by fans as he shared details of his "unexpected hospital treatment".
The former This Morning presenter has been open over his battle with chronic pain after he suffered three slipped discs in his back. The 62-year-old previously appeared on Loose Women and admitted he had been forced to use a crutch to move around.
Eamonn has revealed he has suffered a reoccurrence of the problem and will remain absent from his GB news programme while he recovers. He said: "Unfortunately due to a reoccurrence of a long-term back condition, I've had to undergo some unexpected hospital treatment and am now following doctor's orders by taking a short time off.

"However, I'm looking forward to being back alongside Isabel, my breakfast co-presenter and friend, next week." Celebrity fans and followers rushed to support the broadcaster after the update.
