Eamonn Holmes has posted a painful-looking snap of his face covered in shingles as his health worries continue.
The GB News presenter, 62, is currently recovering from a 'risky' operation on his back.
Sharing a picture from 2018 in which the star's face looks red and swollen, Eamonn wrote: "Ageing puts you at higher risk of shingles (esp. 50+) so it's good to know what to look for.
'I'm pleased to partner with @gsk on their Understanding Shingles report, as I've suffered from this previously."
The presenter's post was met with approval from his famous friends, with Gordon Ramsay, Lizzie Cundy and Carol Vorderman all congratulating the broadcaster for highlighting the issue.
Shingles is a viral infection, which causes a painful rash - and can occur anywhere on the body.
Last year, Eamonn appeared on Loose Women to talk about his 'brutal' battle with the virus, with the father-of-four admitting he he looked like 'Quasimodo' on his son Declan's wedding day in 2018.
As a picture of the star's swollen face was shown on screen, the TV host said: "This is me with shingles looking like Quasimodo there and as you can see from that, it's quite brutal."
He continued: "You'll say, 'How on earth did you get that?' Well, if you've had chickenpox and you've had the virus, it's there in your system and there's a very high chance - 60% chance or so - that you too will have shingles."
The Northern Irish man has had a string of health woes, having dislocated his pelvis and a trapped sciatic nerve in 2021.
Eamonn had to have an operation week on his back this week, which he said had a "20 percent risk of going wrong".
Explaining what the procedure entailed, he told the Express: "This week a surgeon will cut into my back to hopefully relieve pressure on my sciatic nerves.
"It’s an operation that carries a 20 percent risk of going wrong, but such is the pain and restrictions that I have been suffering for the past 18 months, I’ve decided it is a risk I am willing to take."
Thankfully, it looks like the operation was a success after Eamonn told Steph's Packed Lunch on Friday: "I'm still alive, it's all still happening. It was only 48 hours ago I was on the operating table and I have to wait three weeks before I know a little more.
"I had terrible discomfort Steph, before this, and I hope this puts an end to it."
