Eamonn Holmes has reignited his feud with ITV after making savage comments during his GB News show, admitting that there are certain people who are “dead” to him.
The broadcaster, 63, known for his intense feuds with certain people in the industry, made it clear that there are some people who are “dead” to him, while making barbed comments during his live GB News Breakfast show yesterday.
He also appeared to reignite his feud with his previous employer, ITV, after issuing a brutal put down during the show.
Eamonn and his co-presenter Isabel Webster had brought up the topic of Shakira's new song, which is thought to be a diss track aimed at her ex, Gerard Pique, after he was reportedly unfaithful to her.
Inciting a discussion on the subject, the hosts asked viewers to call in to the show with their own revenge stories, before Isabel turned to Eamonn and asked him about his own altercations with others.
She said: "You talk a good game about this. You do, you talk a good game about it but actually, all the people in your life that you've had ding dongs with in the past, you're on great terms with now when I think about it?"
Eamonn responded that not all of his issues with others had been resolved, before Isabel asked him about his former GMTV co-host Anthea Turner, who he dubbed "Princess Tippytoes", to which Eamonn replied that he was "prepared to forgive and forget".
He then went on to admit that he sometimes holds a grudge, saying: "There are other people who have got names who are dead to me whose names I can't..."
"Let's not go there," Isabel replied.
"That's the thing. Once you cross...there are evil people. Let's face it there are evil people and in the fight against good or evil, which I am good. The only sort of enemy you want is a defeated enemy," Eamonn said.
The presenter has been known for his feuds with This Morning host Phillip Schofield and ITV as an employer, dubbing Phil "passive aggressive" and calling ITV "sly" for the way he was axed from This Morning.
He also took on ITV chief Dame Carolyn McCall after his sacking, revealing that he had not been given an explanation as to why he was replaced on This Morning by Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.
Eamonn told the Mirror: "If Dame EasyJet [ITV boss Dame Carolyn McCall, ex-chief exec of EasyJet] had wanted an apology or some sort of explanation, fine. But she never picked up the phone and asked me."
