Eamonn Holmes makes cryptic comments about feuds as he says 'they're dead to me'

Eamonn Holmes has said 'they're dead to me' as he cryptically spoke about feuds that he won't move past. The presenter made the comments during an appearance on his GB News breakfast show alongside co-host Isabel Webster.

The pair were discussing Shakira's new 'revenge track' about her ex Gerard Pique. The singer's new song from the Colombian singer has even broken records by gaining more than 63m YouTube views in 24 hours, making it the most-watched new Latin song in the platform’s history.

Due to the song's lyrics, Shakira's new release in collaboration with the Argentinian producer and DJ Bizarrap is being dubbed a 'diss track' after her split from Piqué, who played football for Barcelona, Manchester United and the Spanish national team, after they separated last year after more than a decade together.

But during their discussion, Isabel said to Eamonn: "You talk a good game about this. You do, you talk a good game about it but actually, all the people in your life that you've had ding dongs with in the past, you're on great terms with now when I think about it."

The 62-year-old, who is married to Loose Women star Ruth Langsford, did say that he is willing to 'forgive and forget' in some instances, but there are others he won't be moving on from. It is then he recalled his feud with Anthea Turner, who he presented GMTV with from 1994 to 1996 and revealed that they had put it behind them,

"Like Anthea Turner, I'm prepared to forgive, forget," Eamonn said as Isobel agreed: "Yes, see I think you're quite good at getting over tiffs." But it appers she wasn't quite right as the former This Morning star continued: "No, but there's other people who are dead to me, who have got names that I can't reveal."

"Let's not go there," Isabel replied, quick to shut down the conversation. But Eamonn added: "That's the thing, I think once you cross that... well, there are evil people. Let's face it, there are evil people, there are. And in the fight against good and evil - which I am good - um, yeah, the only enemy you want is a defeated enemy."

Eamonn made the comments on GB News (GB News)

It comes months after Eamonn drew shock and laughter as he took an opportunity to make a dig at former This Morning co-stars Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield. Following the Queen's death in September, the veteran presenter had been hosting his GB News show from outside Buckingham Palace.

Ahead of the Queen's state funeral which began after the last mourners paid their final respects to Queen Elizabeth II after four days of lying in state, Eamonn's co-host Isabel introduced a guest "who suffered that queue and they were not of any insignificant age, we’ll be talking to them after this…" Taking the opportunity to have a pop at his rival ITV stars, the presenter interrupted: "What, Holly and Phillip?"

He got stunned looks and giggles from Isabel and their guests, who included Christopher Biggins. It comes after an outpouring of outrage ensued after Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were accused of 'jumping the queue' when they were spotted in Westminster Hall resulting in a 'queuegate' saga which was denied by ITV and the hosts.
