Eamonn Holmes has labelled his 93-year-old mum as his "hero".
The Northern Irish TV presenter 's mum Josie lives back in Belfast, with Eamonn based in Surrey.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday night, he said: "Suffice to say ... She gave birth to me, she formed the man I am. She's 93, frail, but her mind is sharp as a tack. She's Josie ❤ She's my Hero. #internationalwomensday."

Wife Ruth Langsford replied: "What a woman!"
Ballroom dancer James Jordan added: "I bet she is very proud of you mate - my mum and late dad mean everything to me too."
Speaking to Woman and Home magazine last year, Eamonn said he and wife Ruth spend Christmas apart so that they can be with their mothers.
He said: “We have this issue now, in that we’ve got a sea dividing us.
“We often have a dilemma of whether I go to Belfast, whether Ruth comes with me.
“But Ruth wants to be with her mum. My mother is 93 this year. It’s easier for us often to be apart.”
