West Coast have made a whopping seven changes for Sunday's AFL match against Melbourne in Perth - and it could end up being eight if ruckman Bailey Williams doesn't regain fitness.
Williams is reportedly in doubt with a minor knee issue, and the Eagles will be desperate for him to play against a Melbourne outfit featuring star ruckman Brodie Grundy.
West Coast's 41-point derby loss to Fremantle last week was a day of injury carnage, with Jamie Cripps (broken ankle), Jeremy McGovern (hamstring), Luke Shuey (hamstring), Liam Ryan (hamstring), Alex Witherden (concussion) and Campbell Chesser (knee) all going down.
Dom Sheed (fractured larynx) was also hit by the injury curse at training on Thursday, forcing coach Adam Simpson to make seven changes.
Elliot Yeo headlines the inclusions after recovering from a calf injury, while Brady Hough, Connor West, Greg Clark, Luke Edwards and Jai Culley were also named.
Last week's sub Elijah Hewett has been included in the 22 in what could be his first full game at AFL level.
Yeo is set to play mostly across half back instead of his customary on-ball role given he has featured just 27 times at AFL level over the past three seasons.
"When he came back last year the second time (and played in defence) he looked a lot more comfortable," Eagles coach Adam Simpson said.
"We probably did him a disservice the first time. We put him on ball and said, 'Alright, off you go'.
"And the game is so dynamic at the moment and so quick and powerful, and it's gone up another level this year, so we need to be careful about what we expect from Yeo."
Melbourne forward Tom McDonald has earned a recall after fellow spearhead Ben Brown was ruled out with a back injury.
McDonald booted 2.2 from 20 disposals in Casey's VFL win over the Swans last week to earn his recall.
"Tom's form prior to last week wasn't to the level that we wanted at AFL," Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin said.
"He went back to the VFL with an unbelievable mindset and he performed really well.
"He took five or six really strong contested marks and put himself back as a selection option for us.
"He's someone that's really valuable to us because of his ability to run and connect, but also take contested marks."
GWS have resisted the temptation to hand No.1 draft pick Aaron Cadman a spot in the 22 for his debut, with the key forward instead an emergency for Sunday's match against Essendon at Marvel Stadium.
Cooper Hamilton and James Peatling were dropped, with defender Adam Kennedy earning a recall.
The Bombers recalled Brandon Zerk-Thatcher in place of Massimo D'Ambrosio.
