Eagles sign OL Brett Toth to the practice squad

The Eagles are bringing back Brett Toth. The versatile offensive lineman is re-signing to the team’s practice squad after being released on Tuesday.

James Bradberry was placed on Injured Reserve Thursday, freeing up a roster spot for Oren Burks, who was promoted from the practice squad. Burks promotion freed up space for Toth to return.

Toth spent Training Camp and the preseason with the Eagles. He was released during the roster cutdown. The versatile lineman lined up primarily at guard and center in Training Camp, earning reps with the first-team unit when other players were out of the lineup.

Toth has a long history with the Eagles. Originally signed as a rookie free agent out of the Army in 2019, Toth first saw regular-season action for the Eagles in 2020, playing in six games with a start. In his five seasons with the Eagles, Cardinals, and Panthers, Toth has suited up in 20 games while starting two of those contests.
