The Philadelphia Eagles received good news on former Georgia Bulldog Jalen Carter. The defensive tackle’s MRI is negative for a back injury suffered in a 38-31 win over the Washington Commanders on Sunday.
The Philadelphia Inquirer’s Jeff McLane reported that Carter could be ready to take on the Dallas Cowboys in Week 9.

Carter recorded one quarterback hit before exiting the Commanders game.
The rookie currently ranks fifth in the NFL in pressures (28) and is the second-highest graded interior defender in the NFL, per Pro Football Focus (91.6). He’s totaled 14 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles this season.
