The Chiefs’ defense has received all of the early season publicity.
Still, in Monday night’s massive matchup at Arrowhead Stadium, Travis Kelce will be in a critical role for Eagles defenders.
Kelce hasn’t scored a touchdown since October 22nd against the Los Angeles Chargers, and in his past two contests, the All-Pro tight end has just nine catches for 72 yards. Still, the younger Kelce brother is the most dynamic player at his position and someone Eagles safety Kevin Byard must key on.
Just days before the colossal matchup in Kansas City, Byard gave insight into what makes Kelce too challenging to defend.

According to Fran Duffy, Kelce is averaging 2.45 yards run per route this year while catching 81.1 percent of his targets, up two percent from last season.
Kelce has been the talk of town off the field, but he’s still the difference between an Eagles win or loss on Monday night.
