Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni are saying all the right things about the Eagles Pro Bowl quarterback pushing to play, but he missed the teams’ initial practice due to his shoulder injury.
Wednesday will be an estimated injury report because of a walkthrough, but Hurts did not participate as he works to rehab a sprained AC joint.
Philadelphia will practice on Thursday and Friday and Hurts will have to throw and participate fully before he’ll be cleared for game activity.
The assumption is that the Eagles will push forward with Gardner Minshew as they look to wrap up the overall No. 1 seed in the NFC.
Making matters worse is the injury status of star right tackle Lane Johnson, who delay surgery for a torn abdominal muscle while rehabbing for the postseason.
