If the Philadelphia Eagles win the Super Bowl for the second time since 2018, offensive lineman Lane Johnson may never have to pay for a meal in that city again.
He might not have to buy another drink in Las Vegas, either. Not after he gave bettors the ultimate edge on one of the most popular prop bets ahead of Super Bowl 57 on Sunday.
As bettors were going back-and-forth over which color gatorade will be dumped on the winning coach, Johnson provided the insight everyone was looking for, per Action Network’s Darren Rovell:
Eagles OT Lane Johnson told the media that yellow has been the team’s Gatorade color all season.
With 39% of all money on yellow/green on its Gatorade prop, @BetMGM says it’s now a “significant liability.”

While Johnson’s insight is only useful if the Eagles win, it’s worth noting that the Chiefs dumped yellow and orange Gatorade on head coach Andy Reid when they won the Super Bowl in 2020.
There are very few locks on Super Bowl Sunday, but this appears to be one of them…but no one would be blamed for hedging with “No Gatorade Poured” at +2000.
