West Coast coach Adam Simpson is confident Willie Rioli will remain with the AFL club, while the signs are looking good for Shannon Hurn to play on next year.
The Eagles have reportedly presented Rioli a multi-year extension, with the out-of-contract forward currently weighing up the offer.
Simpson is optimistic Rioli, who missed two games last month following the death of his father, will re-sign.
"I hope so, yeah, absolutely," Simpson said on Thursday.
"He's had a pretty big few weeks (with his family tragedy). We've got to respect that."
Rioli was forced to serve a two-year ban for twice tampering with a urine sample, but his return this year has been a success.
The 27-year-old has booted 14.3 in 11 games this season and will notch his 50-game milestone in Sunday's clash with Adelaide at Optus Stadium.
Hurn turns 35 next month, but is showing no signs of slowing down.
The 317-game veteran has been one of West Coast's most consistent players this year and will sign a new one-year deal at the end of the season barring an unforeseen late twist.
"It's all pointing in the right direction. I just haven't sat down with him and asked the question," Simpson said.
"We said let's just wait until the end of the year.
"It's looking pretty good at the moment. It doesn't look like he's slowing down. He looks probably better than he did a couple of years ago."
Sunday's match will be all about Josh Kennedy after the veteran forward announced his AFL retirement during the week.
Simpson was full of praise for Kennedy, who has booted 715 goals across 292 games in his decorated career.
"That body of his has put up with so much in his journey, probably more than anybody I've seen with the injuries," Simpson said.
"It's frightening to think what he's going to look like when he's 45. He's put his body on the line for the club.
"In the front half (of his career) he was probably the fittest full forward in the competition.
"He'd blow the GPS up. He'd get you up as high as you'd want to go with him and then he'd get you the other way.
"He did some real damage with his work rate."
