The Miami Dolphins will face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football in a matchup of two 5-1 teams.
The on-field participants are on the national stage of Sunday Night Football, but Saturday night was a perfect kick-off to what has been a great “Philly Phinvasion” by Dolphin fans from across the globe.
With plans in place for this “Phinvasion” for months, if not a year in inception, a trio of Superfans within the Dolphins community organized this event, including several meet and greets within the city of Philadelphia as well as tickets for Sunday night’s game.
Unfortunately, through circumstances unforeseen and completely out of their control, the three Dolphin organizers suffered a sack, being swindled by a crooked ticket broker. With news of this getting circulated, a chance meeting from 2022 came full circle.
One of the organizers of this event was Allie “Dolphreaky” Goodman, who along with friends Stephen Daniels and Ryan Keeling, has been working tirelessly to make good on the situation and picking up another person’s fumble. Not only did each jump on the metaphorical dropped ball, but they also scored in a resounding way.
Goodman is the reigning Dolphins Fan of the Year, and at last year’s Super Bowl, she ran into Eagles president Don Smolenski at a Philadelphia party. Goodman, being a native Pennsylvanian, spoke with the Eagles executive during that event in 2023, and once Smolenski heard of what occurred, he stepped up in a major way.
With nearly 100 Dolphin fans out of luck due to the ticket circumstances, Smolenski granted Goodman, Daniels and Keeling access to standing-room tickets for Sunday Night Football. This was all set-up thanks to the friendship of Dolphins Vice President Tom Garfinkel and his NFC East counterpart, Smolenski.
Goodman appeared on Kay Adams’ show “Up and Adams,” earlier in the week and described the situation, while also paying the good deed forward back to Smolenski and the Eagles.
Goodman and her crew of Miami Sports Music traveling fans and home tailgate superstars, held several auctions and raffles at a Saturday night event at South Philly’s Miller’s Ale House. Proceeds of this multifaceted fundraising effort are set to go to the Eagles Autism Foundation.
Daniels and Keeling were certainly the masterminds behind the inception and production of the event and weekend.
Daniels is the host of the daily morning YouTube show on the Miam’s Sports Music channel in the Dolphins community, and Keeling is the president of Valley Finatics.
“I am so proud of this group of people, and this event could not have happened without Ryan and Allie’s hard work,” Daniels said. “Even when there was an issue, we rebounded and the event went off without a hitch.”
Miami Sports Music, as a group, along with the Goodmans, follow suit in the phenomenal philanthropic work of both organizations.
There will be continued efforts through tailgating events and social media streaming throughout Sunday’s experience and beyond the Eagles Autism Foundation, the group consistently raises funds for charities throughout the Dolphins community, including The Dolphins Cancer Challenge, The Jason Taylor Foundation and numerous others.
