Eagles coach Nick Sirianni had a great mic’d-up exchange with the refs about A.J. Brown’s touchdown

Usually when we see NFL head coaches have in-game conversations with the officials, the exchange doesn’t end with everyone laughing. But hey, all it took was for Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni to roast his own son to give us that moment.

Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown had a monster game on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans — his former team — and he scored the first of two touchdowns on a devastating move that went right through Titans cornerback Kristian Fulton.

Officials threw a penalty flag on the play, which ended up going against Fulton. And that was when NFL Films gave us a listen into this excellent mic’d-up exchange between Sirianni, Roy Ellison and Mearl Robinson.

He wanted to know the important answer: block or charge?

They joked that they would’ve gone with a block if it was basketball because Fulton’s feet were moving. He didn’t establish position. The best part, though, was the joke about Sirianni’s son:

“I needed you yesterday because my son had a basketball game. He had eight fouls in the first three minutes!”

That’s cold, Nick. He’ll need to learn how to stay out of foul trouble.
