The Eagles announced several promotions and changes to head coach Nick Sirianni’s staff for the 2023 season.

Matt Patricia may or may not be a senior defensive assistant coach, but the rest of the staff has been finalized and set for the 2023 NFL season.
D.K. McDonald -- DB Coach
McDonald was promoted to defensive backs coach after being hired as the team’s assistant defensive backs coach in 2021; McDonald helped the Eagles finish with the No. 1 pass defense allowing just 179.8 passing yards per game last season, and the No. 2 overall defense in terms of yards allowed (301.5).
Kevin Patullo--Pass Game Coordinator/Associate Head Coach
Once considered a candidate for the offensive coordinator job, Patullo is now the Eagles passing game coordinator and associate head coach after Brian Johnson’s promotion and Shane Steichen’s departure.
Tyler Scudde -- Assistant Linebackers Coach
Scudder was hired as the Philadelphia Eagles’ coaches’ assistant during the 2021 offseason, following a three-year tenure (2018-20) as a senior defensive quality control coach at Iowa State.
He now gets another promotion.
Mike DiAngelo --Defensive Quality Control Coach
DiAngelo served as the tight ends and receivers coach at Jacksonville State but previously worked in various roles for six seasons at Washington & Jefferson College. Sirianni’s brother, Mike, is the head coach at Washington & Jefferson.
Taver Johnson -- Assistant Defensive Backs Coach
A former defensive coordinator at Temple, Johnson was the defensive pass game coordinator and safeties coach at Eastern Michigan last season. He has NFL experience working with the Las Vegas Raiders as their assistant defensive backs coach.
Ronell Williams -- Nickels Coach
The Chester, Pennslyvania native was a 2010 West Chester University graduate and Division II All-American, Williams will join Sean Desai here in Philadelphia after spending time as the Bears’ defensive quality control coach.
In 2016, Williams was a volunteer linebacker coach for Widener under defensive coordinator Bill Shuey, a former Eagles’ linebacker coach who coached and developed Williams at West Chester.
Tyler Yelk --Assistant to the Head Coach
Yelk won a National Championship both as a player and as a coach at Minnesota-Duluth, where he finished as the school’s all-time leader in tackles. Yelk previously coached nickels and safeties at Temple. He was most recently the safeties coach at Idaho.
