The Eagles are set to depart for Dallas and the team announced three roster moves ahead of Saturday afternoon’s showdown against the Cowboys.
Philadelphia signed Christian Elliss to the active roster. placed Tyree Jackson on Injured Reserve
and elevated Brett Kern from the practice squad for Week 16.
The Eagles also upgraded Zach Pascal from questionable to no-game designation after he cleared the concussion protocol.
Christian Elliss
Elliss will make his fourth appearance this season after being signed to the 53-man roster from the practice squad.
He had four special teams tackles in the wins over the Titans, Giants, and Bears. According to Football Outsiders, the Eagles rank 11th in special teams since Elliss’ debut, likely saving Michael Clay’s job.
The Eagles were 23rd in the games prior.
Brett Kern
Kern, a three-time Pro Bowl selection, will appear in his second game as an Eagle since replacing Arryn Siposs due to injury.
Tyree Jackson
A talented athlete that’s still trying to catch on as an NFL tight end, Jackson has dealt with a lingering knee injury and thus has been placed on Injured Reserve, ending his regular season.
Zach Pascal
Pascal had been in the concussion protocol but will be a factor in Saturday’s contest after being cleared.
