Eagles agree to terms with ex-Titans LB Zach Cunningham

Former Tennessee Titans linebacker Zach Cunningham has found a new home with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles announced on Sunday that they have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with Cunningham, who spent a season-plus in Nashville after being claimed off waivers from the Houston Texans in 2021.

In addition to Cunningham, the Eagles also agreed to terms on a deal with former Jacksonville Jaguars and Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker, Myles Jack.

Cunningham appeared in 10 games with the Titans over his season-plus with the team. The veteran linebacker is no doubt an impact run defender, but he leaves a lot to be desired in coverage.

He only played in six contests in 2022 due to injury. His season ended in December when he was placed on injured reserve for a second time.

Cunningham was cut loose by the Titans in February, which saved the team $8.9 million but cost $4.5 million in dead money. He was one of two starting linebackers Tennessee parted with, as David Long left in free agency to sign with the Miami Dolphins.
