Royal fans have claimed they have spotted a sweet nod to Meghan Markle in a charming new snap of Queen Consort Camilla posing with hundreds of Paddington Bears.
The new photo of Camilla shows her surrounded by the toys that were left as tributes to the late Queen after her death last month at royal residences around the country. It was snapped in the Morning Room at Clarence House before the toys are passed on to children’s charity Barnardo’s to be distributed to vulnerable youngsters. In the background of the picture, a table can be seen in the background with several framed family photos on display.
And some on Twitter believe one of them may be a sweet photo of Meghan alongside her father-in-law King Charles when he walked her down the aisle on her wedding day to Prince Harry.
It is the small picture on the far left of the table in the front row of frames, and one royal fan asked: "Could the small picture be this portrait from the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding released on their first wedding anniversary?"
And another replied: "That’s a shout! I think it might be!"
Fans also speculated that the other black and white photo directly behind it was a portrait of Charles' grandmother the Queen Mother.
While the other framed photos appear to be a portrait of the late Queen and Prince Philip and a lovely family shot taken at Prince Louis' christening.
That shot also features Meghan as well as Harry, Prince William, the Princess of Wales, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Louis, Charles and Camilla.
The Queen Consort is said to have had a rocky bond with Meghan and her stepson Harry and there have been reports that he "can't stand" her.
And some royal commentators have said she could come in for criticism in his upcoming memoir, which is said to be due out later this year.
Last month, a new book that is a biography of the new Queen Consort claims that being Harry's stepmother "wasn't easy".
The book by Angela Levin, Camilla: From Outcast to Queen Consort, says: "It is always difficult to take on the role of stepmother and William and Harry presented the then-Duchess of Cornwall with an almost impossible challenge.
"One insider felt that being Prince Harry’s stepmother in particular wasn’t easy. 'The Duchess always felt quite wary of Harry and used to see him out of the corner of her eye looking at her in a long and cold way. She found it rather unnerving. Otherwise, they got on quite well.'
