EA Sports FC 24 may be EA's brand new football game, but just like FIFA 23, the leaks are still happening, with the official release date reportedly being leaked early.
With just a few months of FIFA 23 information about EA's new game, EA Sports FC, information about the new title EA FC 24 is starting to emerge ahead of its release later this year. Following EA's split from FIFA that put an end to a 30-year partnership, EA FC will officially replace the popular FIFA series of games.
And now, it seems like we know when the next era will begin if a recent leak is to be believed.
EA Sports FC 24 release date leaked
EA FC 24 will be reportedly be released worldwide on Friday, September 29, 2023, according to the reliable leaker and dataminer @billbil_kun (via Dealabs), who has a reputation for announcing release dates for games in advance. This is one day earlier than the FIFA 23 release, with EA apparently set to follow the release pattern of past FIFA titles.
This leak also suggests that, just like we saw with the EA Sports FIFA series, the EA FC series will carry a number on the end of each title, as previously the new game had only been referred to as EA Sports FC (EA FC), with the new game reportedly set to be named EA FC 24.
Like FIFA 23, the leaker also announced that there will be two versions of EA FC 24 released, a Standard and an Ultimate Edition. Players who buy the Ultimate Edition will receive seven days of early access to EA Sports FC 24, which is four days more than the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition.
The extended early access means players with the Ultimate Edition can reportedly start playing EA FC 24 from Friday, September 22, 2023, whilst EA Play members can also access their 10 hours of early access from the same date
EA first confirmed its new game EA FC 24 with the launch of its official logo in April, taking on the shape of a triangle which has been a common theme in the FIFA timeline. More recently, David Jackson, VP of Brand at EA Sports unveiled the first bit of information on gameplay in EA FC 24, confirming that HyperMotion V will power the game, containing over 80x the number of animations in FIFA 23 as EA "blur the lines between virtual and real football".
EA confirmed more information would be released on EA FC 24 in July, but it seems leakers have got their ahead of the publisher.
