In every FIFA title, Career Mode has been one of the most popular game modes, as there's no a better feeling than developing a youngster into one of the world's best. In past FIFA titles, we've seen the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and many more start off at a fairly low rating with extremely high potential, and there's a new crop of youngsters who are ready to become some of football's top players in EA Sports FC.
EA FC 24 is EA Sports ' brand-new football game, replacing the long-lasting FIFA series that ran for 30 years after the publisher and FIFA put an end to their three-decade-long partnership. We know very little right now regarding EA Sports FC apart from the fact it will be released later this year, though a host of leaks have appeared on social media across the last few months, claiming we could see some big changes made to Ultimate Team and Career Mode.
In FIFA 23, some of the lower-rated players with high potential that stood out were the likes of Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Mathys Tel, Pablo Torre and Evan Ferguson. But, there were some players who made a breakthrough during the 2022/23 season who weren't in FIFA 23 from release, and some of these could be ones to watch in EA Sports FC.

EA Sports FC: 10 wonderkids to look out for
Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United)
A breakthrough star for Manchester United this season, Alejandro Garnacho wasn't even in the United squad on FIFA 23 at release and has quickly established himself as one of the most exciting wingers in world football. Not only has he become a regular for Erik ten Hag at United, but the 18-year-old has earned a call-up to the Argentina national squad where he will be learning from the best, Lionel Messi.

Evan Ferguson (Brighton and Hove Albion)
Evan Ferguson only made his Brighton debut in late December last year, with the Irish striker starting FIFA 23 at just 59 overall. But, the 18-year-old is now one of the most dangerous strikers in the Premier League, scoring 10 goals in 29 games this season. Scary.

Stefan Bajcetic (Liverpool)
Signed as a defender, 18-year-old Stefan Bajcetic was called up to the Liverpool first team during an injury crisis in midfield, and the Spaniard instantly became a hit, even being hailed as the Reds' "best player" by Mohamed Salah prior to his injury. Another player who wasn't in FIFA 23 at release, we expect the midfielder to earn a big rating and potential rating boost in EA Sports FC.

Rasmus Hojlund (Atalanta)
Rasmus Hojlund was gone up eight overall ratings over the course of FIFA 23 and is strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, and it's clear to see why. The 20-year-old striker managed 10 goals in his first season for Atalanta whilst also starring on the international stage, scoring five goals in his first four games for Denmark.

Gabriel Veiga (Celta Vigo)
Gabriel Veiga was a standout star in La Liga this season, becoming a regular in the Celta Vigo XI and also establishing himself as one of the finest young talents in the world. 11 goals and four assists in the league this season has seen the Spaniard linked with Liverpool, and over the course of FIFA 23, the 21-year-old has increased by 10 overall ratings. Expect a big upgrade to his potential rating in EA Sports FC.

Arda Guler (Fenerbahce)
At just 18 years old, Arda Guler is seemingly linked with half of Europe at the moment after his incredible performances in Turkey this season. The midfielder registered one of the highest average ratings in the Turkish Super Lig this season, so expect a big potential rating upgrade for the youngster.

Alex Scott (Bristol City)
The Championship Young Player of the Season, Alex Scott had another fantastic season at Bristol City, drawing the attention of a host of Premier League clubs who are looking to make a move for the midfielder this season. At just 19, Scott grabbed the headlines after a fantastic display against Treble winners Manchester City in the FA Cup, and he's expected to have a huge potential rating in EA Sports FC.

Mohamed-Ali Cho (Real Sociedad)
Signed as Alexander Isak's replacement at Real Sociedad, it was a slow season for Mohamed-Ali Cho, but there's no doubt about the potential there. The French striker could become one of the most exciting strikers in Spain next season, and we expect his potential rating to reflect that.

Warren Zaire-Emery (Paris Saint-Germain)
Warren Zaire-Emery broke into the PSG first-team at just 16 years old this season and has starred when playing, even being trusted to start against Bayern Munich in the Champions League. To have played over 30 games for PSG at just 17 years old and look as good as he does, we expect that Zaire-Emery will have one of the highest potential ratings in EA Sports FC.

Arthur Vermeeren (Royal Antwerp)
Another player who wasn't included in FIFA 23's release, 18-year-old Arthur Vermeeren was recognised as one of Europe's hottest talents as he broke into the Royal Antwerp team this season. The defensive midfielder played a pivotal role in his side winning the Belgian league this season, so expect a ridiculously high potential rating for the Belgian.
