It was an explosive episode of Married At First Sight UK on Monday night, as groom Matt told his new bride Gemma that he was "ready to walk away".
Things appeared to be going very smoothly after the pair were first introduced when they came into the show as late arrivals.
But everything turned very sour on the honeymoon, with Barber Matt storming out of a restaurant, after Gemma, who is a hair salon owner, made a sexual remark - and she spent their wedding reception doing the exact same thing, writes Wales Online.
Explaining how it made him feel, Matt told her: "You are sexually pushing me away. It makes me go in on myself. I don't know what it is but for me it shuts me off."
The show then fast-forwards to the following day with a teary Gemma explaining Matt had stormed out of dinner. She told the cameras: "I don't even know how it happened. We ended up having a really big argument."
While Matt shared: "I had to walk away. I couldn't handle that situation anymore. Everyone's capable of filthy banter, a bit of a joke. Gemma takes it to a whole new level."
The pair then met up for coffee, with Gemma explaining she wanted to learn from it and move forward, asking Matt if he wanted to stay married, he responded: "I was ready to walk away last night."
After a long chat, Matt said: "I do want to move forward, I do want to see if there's a possibility to fix this." Gemma agreed, adding: "Hopefully we can make it work."
Married At First Sight UK continues on E4 on Tuesday at 9pm.
