Musician Richie Dews won the hearts of viewers as he embarked on a mission to find love on the E4 matchmaking show Married At First Sight UK. Richie is one of the singles hoping for happy ever ever as they marry a stranger after meeting for the first time on their wedding day.
In heartwarming scenes screened on Thursday night Richie and his bride Lara Eyre appeared to immediately hit it off. And the rock band veteran originally from Manchester serenaded his wife with a song he had penned especially for her.
Richie impressed music lover Lara when he told her earlier in the day that he had been in a band. And it helped to break the ice with her son.

Former in 1985, former members also include physicist Professor Brian Cox from the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Manchester. The keyboardist was a member of Dare in the 80s and early 90s before joining the pop band D:Ream who had a number one hit with Things Can Only Get Better.
Richie, 51, previously discussed his musical background during a previous TV appearance on the second series of the ITV dating gameshow Take Me Out back in 2010. He bagged a date after serenading her in the studio with an original song.
"I've played in a few rock and roll bands, travelled round the world and I absolutely love Spanish. Music seems to being out the wild side in women and I've had my fun. But I know what I want out of life and I want a partner I can love and cherish." he said.
Over a romantic candle lit dinner there was a surprise as two men with guitars appeared and started playing the same song, and Richie was overcome with emotion. "That's my song," he said as he wiped away tears.
As well as recognising Richie from Take Me Out, Married At First Sight UK fans spotted his uncanny celeb lookalikes, saying he looks like all of Take That. @jcgregs tweeted: "Richie kind of looks like someone put every current member of Take That in a blender."
@Xen25 commented: "Richie looks like all of Take That combined." @agneeeepon said: "Richie actually looks like a Take That member." And @_matthewstom wrote: "Richie looks like a combo of 2006 Mark Owen and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) and I can’t unsee it."
