Former President Donald was found liable for sexual assault E. Jean Carroll in the 1990s by a New York grand jury in a civil case. He is ordered to pay $5 million in damages.

A former Elle Magazine columnist, Carroll had accused Trump in 2019 in a memoir that described her encounter with the former president. The bumped into each other at Bergdorf Goodman, a department store in New York City.
