DYLAN LEVITT is in advanced talks with Dundee United as the midfielder closes in on a return to Tannadice on a permanent deal, according to reports.
The Manchester United player spent last season on loan at the Tayside club, impressing and playing an important role as Tam Courts' side secured a fourth-placed finish in the Premiership.
The 21-year-old Welshman has been told by bosses at Old Trafford that he will be allowed to leave on a permanent deal this summer and the Manchester Evening News report that Dundee United have agreed a fee with the English giants.
The report adds that negotiations between Levitt and United are at an advanced stage, with the transfer expected to be finalised before the squad fly out to Spain for a pre-season training camp on Sunday.
