An Uddingston woman has accused Scotland's housing processes of failing people with MND, after she was forced to wash her dying husband outside with buckets of water because their house couldn't be adapted.
Marie Cartwright, 63, spent her last precious months with husband, Ian, washing him on their garden decking with buckets of water, while she fought with their local authority to get a wet room and other essential adaptations installed.
Tragically, Ian died before the adaptations were put in place.
