Bloody Ties, Dying Light 2’s first story DLC, is delayed until Nov. 10, 2022, Techland announced in a post on Twitter. The Techland team originally planned to release the zombie horror game’s first major expansion on Oct. 15, 2022, but decided to delay it until Nov. 10, 2022, so the team had more time to work on bugs and resolve other issues.
When it does launch, Bloody Ties will add a brand-new arena to the city of Villedor, where players compete as Aiden in a series of bloodsoaked tournaments, but fame and glory aren’t the only rewards. While Bloody Ties is a combat-oriented expansion, Techland promises the arena has more bubbling under the surface aside from adrenaline and broken bones.
Villedor’s arena is home to a dark secret, and Aiden’s only chance at unraveling the tangled web of death and opulence is playing along and completing a set of brutal challenges to earn the trust of those who run the show.
We have taken the decision to postpone the launch of Bloody Ties until November 10th, to allow the team extra time to polish and squash bugs.

Aiden also has the help of a new feature called the Carnage Manica. Techland is keeping details about this new creation under wraps, but promises it will make combat more creative than ever.
Techland previously released a Bloody Ties trailer, which you can check out below.
Dying Light 2 launched in a rough state, with quest bugs that prohibited players from progressing, combat and artificial intelligence issues, and some graphical issues as well, so it comes as no surprise that Techland wants to ensure the same thing doesn’t happen with Bloody Ties.
It’s not the only horror game getting delayed either. Sons of the Forest 2 was originally meant to release in the same month and will now launch in 2023 instead.
