The next update for Dying Light 2 is adding tons of stuff, including a new game plus mode.
On Wednesday, Techland announced that Dying Light 2’s next patch will be the biggest yet. Quite a statement, consider how massive some of the game’s patches have been thus far. As ever, bug fixing will take precedent, but the new game plus mode is coming too. Techland did not explain what it’ll entail, but new game plus modes typically make things more difficult.
“We’re planning to release patch [three] on all platforms by the end of this month,” Techland said on Twitter. “Full notes will be available once the update is live.”
Survivors,
Our team is working hard on patch 3 for DL2 Stay Human.
It will be one of the biggest patches we've released so far. Apart from many fixes for both multi and single-player mode, it will also introduce a New Game+ mode, giving you more reasons to re-visit The City.(1/2)— Dying Light (@DyingLightGame) April 5, 2022
Techland’s promise of consistent updates for Dying Light 2 seems to be going smoothly so far. The first free DLC came out only weeks after launch, and bug-squashing is fixing many more significant problems.
GLHF’s review for Dying Light 2 made things clear that there were a few too many issues to recommend thoroughly. Perhaps as time goes on and Techland keeps rolling out updates, picking up Dying Light 2 will be a no-brainer.
