Dying Light 2 goes spooky, and The Beast update brings fresh blood to the classic — here's what you need to know

It’s nice to see that Techland is supporting two titles at once with Dying Light: The Beast and Dying Light 2. While The Beast Within launched earlier this year as a standalone spin-off to a decent reception, Dying Light 2 first released back in 2022, where it was well-received and reviewed positively by us.

This round of updates for The Beast brings some welcome changes, including new AI behavior, community challenges, and more. With it being spooky season — or at least the tail end — fans of Dying Light 2 can dive into a new, Halloween-themed event to close out October.
