Pensioners across Scotland could qualify for a £300 boost this winter to help with energy bills amid the worsening cost of living crisis.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has updated its guidelines to make it easier for pensioners throughout the UK to find out if they qualify for a one-off £300 sum on top of their Winter Fuel Payment.
This is due to be paid in November and December, or January 13 at the latest, though in order to qualify for the boost you must meet certain conditions.
