DWP cost of living payment dates for 2022 and who is eligible for each

The Cost of Living payments will help thousands of people with some much-needed financial help, especially with the colder months on their way. Millions of people have already received the first instalment with the second due to arrive soon.

The first means-tested payments from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) of £326 have been paid with another £324 coming this autumn.

The Liverpool Echo reports that people who are claiming Work Tax Credit or are receiving Child Tax Credit from HM Revenue and Customs (HRMC) will receive their payment of £326 in September, with the second round of support due to be made in the winter.
