DWP benefit claimants set for cash boost this spring after rule change

DWP Universal Credit

Over 120,000 low-income workers will receive a boost to their earnings following a rule change by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

More working people on income-related benefits will receive additional help from the end of February to increase their earnings.

New regulations which came into force on Monday mean more than 120,000 working people on Universal Credit across Great Britain will receive a job support boost this spring.
