It’s the end of the road for Dwayne Johnson’s NBC series Young Rock after the network decided against renewing it as part of their 2023 fall TV lineup. The series, which focused on Johnson’s childhood, his early years as a professional wrestler and his meteoric rise to fame as a Hollywood A-lister, just ended its third season earlier this year.
Young Rock followed Johnson’s life as a young boy growing up and culminating with his splashy entrance as a professional wrestler. The series premiered in February 2021 and quickly gained acclaim from fans and critics alike, finding a home in NBC’s fall lineup for its second and third seasons.
