The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency issued an urgent update regarding all driving tests on Monday, September 19.
The Queen's funeral is set to take place on Monday with shops, services, and schools closing in an act of respect. With this, DVSA has confirmed that all practical and theory tests are suspended.
Learner drivers have been issued a warning against phoning customer services as they will be contacted directly instead.

In a statement on Twitter, the DVSA announced: "Our thoughts are with His Majesty King Charles III and the Royal Family at this sad time. In line with National Mourning guidance our services will continue during the mourning period.
"We are suspending our services on 19 September due to the Bank Holiday and State Funeral, allowing individuals, businesses and other organisations to pay their respects to Her Majesty We appreciate your patience and understanding during this period of National Mourning.
"Please do not contact our customer service centre as they will not be able to provide any details about individual appointments which are being suspended. All customers with an appointment on 19 September will be contacted directly."
This comes as major supermarkets, retail stores and services, including bin collections and schools have all confirmed that they will be closing and not running services on the day. Some hospitality venues like Brewdog have announced they will be opening after 2pm.
