More than 21,000 vehicles in Nottingham were given fines, penalties or clamped in 2021 for not registering tax on time, the DVLA has warned.
DVLA has launched a new advertising campaign in the highest evading areas across the UK, of which Nottingham is part of, reminding drivers of the real risk of failing to tax their vehicles on time.
The Government says the message is clear to motorists – if you do not tax your vehicle on time, the DVLA will take action - ‘tax it, don’t risk it’.
