Motorists are being warned to inform the DVLA over a number of medical conditions, or they could see their insurance voided.
Experts from Quotezone.co.uk are urging drivers to tell DVLA if they suffer from a medical condition that could prevent them from getting behind the wheel. They have identified 10 conditions that could prevent motorists from legally taking to the road or invalidate their insurance – leaving them unprotected in the case of an accident.
Failure to do so could result in a £1,000 fine, or even prosecution if the driver is involved in an accident, the MEN reports. However, some people are unaware they have a condition that may prevent them from driving.
