Erik ten Hag has been handed a Manchester United Class of 92 warning amid interest in him becoming the next manager at Old Trafford.
MEN Sport has revealed that Ten Hag's current club Ajax are expecting their boss to leave the Johan Cruyff Arena for the next campaign. The 52-year-old was interviewed for the role last month and he is believed to be United's number one choice for the position.
This weekend it was reported that Ajax had taken the unusual step of banning media requests from England amid building speculation regarding their manager. On the pitch, United lost 1-0 on Saturday to a struggling Everton side.

Anthony Gordon scored a deflected effort for the only goal of the game in the 27th minute, as United's current side plummeted to new depths. Speaking to Voetball International, Dutch footballing legend Ruud Gullit issued a warning to his fellow countryman about taking the job at the Theatre of Dreams.
He said: "Is it the right choice? That has to be seen. They also want to play the football he plays, but it’s going to be a really terrible job. There are all these former players in the TV studios: Gary Neville, Rio Ferdinand, Paul Scholes…
"There is constant pressure on the team, that is not easy. Know what to expect, it’s a huge job.
"He also has to be given the time, but I don’t know if you get the time at Manchester United. The former footballers are constantly raking, you get it on your plate all the time and you have to be able to handle that.
"I would like it if a Dutch coach is successful, because things are not going so well in Europe."
