Dustin Johnson has taken home an eye-watering £16million bonus after being confirmed as the inaugural LIV Golf individual champion. Johnson secured the jackpot with two events still to play after finishing in a tie for 15th in Bangkok last weekend.
The American has enjoyed plenty of success since joining the Saudi-backed series, finishing in the top five across the opening six events which included a maiden LIV victory in Boston last month. With his success has come plenty of financial reward.
The 2020 Masters champion has accumulated a remarkable £11.7million across the maiden season of the breakaway circuit, and now has a cool £16million to go on top with two events still left to play.
